These are not proper filters if you want to strict-block a site. Instead, just use:

||matrixmartonline.com^
||matrixmartonline.com^$popup
The first one will cause the site to be strict-blocked (i.e. not even the root document will be allowed to load)[1], the second one will auto-close any popups to that site.

Thanks! uBlock Origin did not use those filter configurations in what I saw. Now I have two ways to block an unwanted site if Adblock doesn't work. I disabled uBlock Origin the other day because I couldn't get it to work, but it's still there in case I need it.
