Open Link/Bookmark in new Background Tab on a Mac
Can anyone tell me why Open Link/Bookmark in new Background Tab on a Mac only works when it feels like it?

It seems to work on google search pages. It only works when it feels like it on ESPN.

.
Works for me ALL THE TIME using FF50.1. As dfoulkes suggests you may have an extension conflict. Try FF safe mode.
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled.......

EDIT: Works for me ALL THE TIME on ESPN.

Yeah... always works fine for me... but I use TMP so that's probably why it does.

URL?
Most likely they are specifically trying to subvert opening particular links in a tab.

For those pages command + left click does NOT work. Opens in the same tab. However, right click does work.COKEDUDE wrote:

99% of the time I use command + left click; this is the first site I've seen where it does not work. I suspect it has something to do with the coding on the site but don't have the time or inclination to dig into it.

Re: Open Link/Bookmark in new Background Tab on a Mac

Thanks. As I stated on my MAC using FF50.1 those links open with a right click but not a command + left click.
I always (99%+) use command + left click and have NEVER seen that behavior on any site other than
http://www.espn.com/college-football/scoreboard
Has to be something with the site coding.
Seems a little extreme to use an extension when a simple right click works.
Just my opinion.

That is funny~! ... but this morning at about 6am ... it was 30F degrees... but not like when I worked outside in Alaska near Denali ... 58 below zero for 3 days and nights... but then taking into account the 30-40 MPH wind... who knows what it really was... it was just damn cold.
