iTunes will not download in Firefox at all. When I click 'download' on the Apple website. I am brought to the "Thanks for downloading iTunes" page, except the download does not start. It isn't initiated or anything. It is as if the download button does not start any kind of download whatsoever.
Does anybody know what the problem could be?

I don't get a problem with it. Try restarting Firefox in Safe Mode which will temporarily disable all your extensions: https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Procedur ... /ta-p/1687
Be aware though that Apple has ceased releasing security patches for Quick Time for Windows: http://www.bit-tech.net/news/bits/2016/ ... -windows/1

Old bug, https://bug98304.bugzilla.mozilla.org/s ... =673366#c9.
Says fixed.
But maybe something in there might provide a clue to your situation?
Or it could be totally unrelated.
