David Fay Janney-Sonarr interface not launching (Mac)

Post by davidfayjanney »

For some reason Sonarr has stopped launching my web browser (Firefox) when Sonarr is first launched. It used to work fine, but not anymore. I didn't change the settings so it seems as if something broken maybe with the last update. There doesn't seem to be any errors in the logs.

This is on OS X 10.6.8 Server.

Moving to Firefox Support...

What is "Sonarr"?
[Ancient Amateur Astronomer.]
Win-10-H/64 bit/500G SSD/16 Gig Ram/450Watt PSU/350WattUPS/Firefox-115.0.2/T-bird-115.3.2./SnagIt-v10.0.1/MWP-7.12.125.

(Always choose the "Custom" Install.)

@Limpet235 - Looks to be either a media player, sometthing to work with Bit Torrent, an indexer or possibly a Scottish Super Hero.
It could also be an add-on at one time which hasn't been updated since 2010

Sonarr (former NZBDrone) is a so-called PVR (personal video recorder) for Usenet or Torrent users, which checks multiple RSS feeds (also called Indexer) for new episodes of the shows you're following

If you updated to the latest version of Firefox it could be, if Sonarr is npapi based might be having issues due to that.
A definitive answer might be hard to come by with changes currently being implemented in updates of Firefox 52.

There may be more detail here: Firefox 52 there's information on other versions as well as 52.
