Hi c627627,
Well, I'm not sure what you require, but there is this extension.
It hasn't been updated for a while, so you may have to contact the author
& request he update it.
Setting Sanity > https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... ingsanity/
or, you could try "bumping it" or using this extension...

if not present you have to create it, regarding the KB as boolean (true).
not all given settings are present by default - it would blow up the prefs file.

concerning TMP, not sure what you mean. the official help site: http://tabmixplus.org/support/viewtopic.php?t=3
or the forum: http://tabmixplus.org/forum/

it is really good explained. please come back with specific questions.

Thank you for reminding me that some boolean toggles need to be entered manually.
We have established that this can be accomplished with the Tab Mix Plus and I posted exactly how earlier so the issue is resolved through an extension.

I am still curious if/how this can be done manually, just to learn how.

In your link it says that
browser. jsannoyances. disabled
controls this.

Two specific questions:

1. Notice how there is a space in between browser. and jsannoyances
Does it matter if there's a space, shouldn't it be all one term without space?

2. Either way, this boolean toggle does not affect window size. Windows are still resized as instructed.
If you come across a command in the future that blocks windows being resized, would you please post in this thread?

If you go to your link, you will see that there are spaces after all browser. entries, look: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_FAQ ... ig_Entries
I figured they should not be there, but as you can check, they are.

Thank you again for posting.

It seems that this issues is resolved... so, I'm just commenting about it. I've been busy so I just saw that link that creates that popup and the compare options... when I clicked on compare a new (full0 result-tab) opened up ... and as you now do, I use TMP ... glad you figured it out.

Also from the FAQ
"Spaces between the dots in preference names on this page exist purely for word-wrapping. They are actually not present and should not be thought as so. Editors of this page must take care to follow this convention in order to not force users to horizontally scroll this article."

i think they inserted spaces not to break the table in its width. long settings may exceed users desktop.
the magic number is 51 and you are probably part of it :p
