Firefox Updates

Hi All

I get notification every every time I go on the net that Firefox is unable to determine whether updates are required. If I go through the process of checking I am invariably up to date. It is not a showstopper but a bit annoying. Any info on what I can do? I am operating Windows 8.1 and I do not try to do anything clever.

Actually, you're not up to date. The current release version of Firefox is 52.0.1.

Download a new copy of the full installer from www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all and run that to bring Firefox up to the current version.
