Disable Firefox Page Loading Status Indicator.

Post by leegold »

Hi,

Using 53.0 on Linux.

There's an activity page loading graphic indicator "thing". If certain kinds of content are loading in the browser at the top somewhere between the content and the tool bars at the top a status indicator like a fine ribbon goes left to right across the window. I find it distracting and want to get rid of it. Is there a way?

Thanks.

Not seeing that here... just saying... but, in case this is a Linux issue... or a combo of Firefox's Linux release... you should include Linux in your topic-title.
As you can see she's (The CAT) always alert and on the prowl for Meoware !!

Sounds more like the download/process indicator for the Ubuntu System.
Do you have automatic system updates accepted?
Are these media files, music/video etc.?
Doesn't matter what you say, it's wrong for a toaster to walk around the house and talk to you

Hi,
Do you mean the Loading/Progress indicator?

Image

What extensions are you running?
If the "Staus-4-Evar", then go to, Tools > Addons & check the option/prefs tab > Progress > Location Bar
& un-check the "Show Location Bar" option or change it to whatever colour you want.
