This new FF 53 has made my viewing/usability very tough.
For some reason the font size in the menu, title bar etc, has decreased in size from previous versions. This makes it very hard for those of us without perfect vision or small screens.
How do I increase the font size?
I have gone into options/content/fonts(18) it has not changed from previous ver..
Help and or fix greatly appreciated.
TIA
Using Windows 7 pro

Hi newdino !
Maybe using the zoom feature will work for you :

Re: FF 53 Font size
OP is asking about changing size of fonts in UI, not web pages.Happy112 wrote:Hi newdino !

The extension dickvl mentioned is the type of thing needed. I don't think that extension will work after 57 though. I don't know what Mozilla expects visually impaired users to do then.

Re: FF 53 Font size
Do others here see that? For some reason the font size in the menu, title bar etc, has decreased in size from previous versions.
If not, then maybe it is an extension you were using that is no longer working in FF 53?
Fire 750, bring back 250.

I do not see that. Maybe the extension just requires an update?therube wrote:Do others here see that? For some reason the font size in the menu, title bar etc, has decreased in size from previous versions.

Which I interpreted as 'Not just in UI' .....
As the zoom feature works for me, I thought it might be a good idea to give the OP this 'tip'.
But so far the OP hasn't replied to any posts yet, so, why don't we just wait and see what he/she has to say first ?

Re: FF 53 Font size
That's a terrific add-on ! Good for you to come up with it !
If that simple zoom-feature wasn't working so well for me, I would definately consider 'NoSquint Plus' !
Thank you for mentioning it !

Re: FF 53 Font size
Thank you for the help
theme-font-size-changer/ worked for most of the issues I was asking about. Thanks dickvl
Mo_D was correct about it being the UI not the web page, zoom works for the web page only.
I do not know what changed in ver 53 but this solves the issue for me. Did not take much, font size from 12 to 13 made a world of difference.
It did not change the page title at the top though, which is not a big deal.
Again thank you all.
