Firefox CRASHES CONSTANTLY!!!!!!

Post by tcr1016 »

Everytime I click on a link in Facebook, Firefox Crash. Filing with the State for my business today and, Firefox Crash. I tried to uninstall Firefox and reinstall, but it remembered all my bookmarks, Firefox Crash.

Has Firefox become the AOL of today and useless???? It seems it locks in your system then, Firefox Crash. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64

Have you tried Firefox Safe Mode? Help>Restart with Add-ons Disabled. It's a testing mode. If you still get crashes when you're in Safe Mode your profile is almost certainly borked and you will need to create a new one.

Try that first and report back!

Did you bother reading the support information that Brummelchen hyperlinked?

Especially the one about the Crash Reporter and Viewing your Crash Reports. .
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mo ... sh-reports

And this one about Getting help with crash reports
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mo ... sh-reports

.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Mine has wandered off and I'm out looking for it.

safe mode = no crash -> assuming faulting extension -> disable all and re-enable one by one until crash.
we could make it shorter but you did not provide content from about:support i asked for - for reason.
