I am having almost the same general problem in my Windows 7 version of Firefox as I did in my ZTE Android tablet, version of Firefox. The following is the post that I made in the Firefox for Android forum:
This is on A ZTE Android tablet model K90U. Running stock Android 6.0. The Android version of Firefox is installed along with the add-on "QuitNow". The home page that Firefox is set to open to when Firefox starts up is http://www.nbcrightnow.com , the local tv stations news web page. The problem is Firefox is not opening to http://www.nbcrightnow.com . It opens to what ever the last web page that I looked at before shutting down is. How can I fix this minor problem? Other then that 1 glitch Firefox works fine.
In the case of the Win7 version of Firefox. When I 1st open Firefox I get, the 1st Dropbox screen capture link https://www.dropbox.com/s/pi77vmdl98esd ... x.jpg?dl=0 It should look like the 2nd screen capture link https://www.dropbox.com/s/l6wmn8qrdlrnx ... n.jpg?dl=0 When I click on the house icon in the upper right corner. The home screen comes up like it should. The Add-on for the "newtab override" is in place and working fine. When I open a new tab.
