Because I didn't know it was there. I do have a life outside Firefox.

Didn't say nothing works. i have to change my A-V first.

Final results:
Changing A-V didn't help.
Flash is still buggy with the empty default profile that came with FF.
Flash is fine when Win is in Safe-Mode.

As I can't run this version of Flash w/o FF, I can't tell whether FF or Flash are at fault. But I know it's not any specific profile.

I'm going to move the problem to virtualdr.com, where I've been a longtime member, unless a light bulb just lit in someone's brain.

Thanks to all who helped. :D

thats why i wanted YOU to run OTL, wether you like it or not. you have a driver culprit but without informations you should stay with the current state and dont bother further. mark the thread as solved or let it closed. moving the problem to another forum is like kicking alle people here into ass, not nice. if you behave like here you probably wont get any result in 100 years.

I moved it to a general computer forum because I don't think the problem is with Firefox. That doesn't besmirch anyone here. Various people have different areas of expertise, and I'm getting input from a few more people. It's not a competition.

What is OTL testing?

Use OTL to offer system details

download, these options
+ scan all users
+ skip microsoft files
+ LOP
+ Purity
+ programs -> ALL (not safe-list)
+ output: standard
"SCAN"

Put result from otl.txt and extras.txt to pastebin.com!
