Hi.
Have some olld computers that all have different Ubuntu based distro installed (Mint Mate, Linux lite and Xubuntu). All those runs FIrefox, and of course it is the default web reader on all those distros.
The only thing that seems to differ from windows (regardless of program version) is that when middle mouse button / wheel (refered to just as MB for short) in Linux does not cause the scroll symbol to appear. That it does on Windows.
Can I make FIrefox behave similar to the Windows version running Linux, in regard to MB?
Thanks
Middle mouse button on Linux doesn't behave like Windows

Edit > Preferences > Advanced (left) then General (top) and check "Use autoscrolling".
This is with Firefox from Mozilla.org and not third-party builds from Linux distros that may have some minor changes.

Works in both Mint and in Ubuntu - symbol shows at position you clicked the middle mouse button.
Note: it took a few seconds to show up after the change to auto scrolling enabled.
