If your Firefox layout and session got reset it's probably because of CCleaner's faulty option to clean "Last Download Location". (it also messes with Thunderbird)

You can update to the latest version of CCleaner in order to remove that option, and then it should be fine.

thats why experts never recommend any cleaner to work on firefox or any other browser. time bomb. not the first and not the last, some people never learn.

I cannot count the number of times that "we" have told people to remove any/all references
to both Firefox & Thunderbird in CCleaner.

They are both well capable of taking care of themselves.

another crap, same story.

ccleaner 5.32 deletes favicons file in firefox 55 profiles when deleting "history" (5.33 bugfix)
