I am now using version 54.0 as of this morning.
I have lost my Roboform toolbar because FF has decided to become more like Chrome, Edge & Safari.
No longer viva la difference.
If I had wanted those browsers, I would have changed many years ago.
I rely heavily on Roboform and the quick access to it's many options.
Undoubtedly WebExtensions make Mozilla's life much easier, but are having a detrimental effect on my daily browsing.
How, and is it possible, to go back to a previous version of Firefox, before they screwed this one up?

Re: RoboForm Tool Bar Gone
You're first move should be to check with the developers of RoboForm to ask if they are going to update their product to work with version 54 of Firefox.
Keep in mind that they are the ones that say RoboForm works with Firefox, Mozilla never said that Firefox works with RoboForm.

Re: RoboForm Tool Bar Gone
Roboform's latest version is anticipating Fx 57. Toolbar is eliminated for a "Chrome Style" icon with drop down menu. I've even lost the "fill forms" and "save forms" on my context menu. So far, it seems the only path is to go into that menu to do what's needed. Much more cumbersome but I'm not sure there is anything we will be able to do about the direction things are going.

Re: RoboForm Tool Bar Gone
I've just updated RF to 8.3.7.7
I noticed that the Firefox toolbar is not specified in View > Toolbars.
The right-click context menu also doesn't show the RF items now.
I've started a report ticket with RoboForm.
BTW I'm using Firefox 54.0 (64-bit)
EDIT: I guess this is expected now except I am not seeing the little RoboForm icon.

I updated my netbook with FF 54.0 and RF 8.3.7.7 and the icon is showing.FFman wrote: ...EDIT: I guess this is expected now except I am not seeing the little RoboForm icon.
The difference is that on my netbook I don't use the Classic Theme Restorer.
So on my desktop I disabled the CTR and reloaded FF.
The RF icon appeared.
I re-enabled the CTR, restarted FF and the RF icon disappeared.
So could it be the CTR preventing the RF icon appearing.
EDIT: After I re-enabled CTR the address bar wasn't showing so I went into customize and noticed that the RF icon appeared next to the address bar.
I dragged the address bar to where I wanted it and could then drag the RF icon to where I wanted it and it stayed there even after a FF restart.
So it appears to be all working now and I'm very confused!

Sure sounds like it. Find it a bit weird, though.FFman wrote:I updated my netbook with FF 54.0 and RF 8.3.7.7 and the icon is showing.FFman wrote: ...EDIT: I guess this is expected now except I am not seeing the little RoboForm icon.

I don't use CTR, so I have no way to check this out, but : CTR will stop working in about five months time anyway - unless you really, really want to hang on to it a little longer, I'd say : disable it.
Totally up to you, of course.

Re: RoboForm Tool Bar Gone
I've had a reply from RF and the right-click context menu is also not available in the new version of RoboForm in Firefox.

Re: RoboForm Tool Bar Gone
I had the same problem. Using Firefox 54...upgraded to Roboform 8.3 and Roboform toolbar disappeared. However I was able to get it back. Follow these steps
1. Click the Firefox button that has 3 horizontal bars (this is at far right of screen in my setup).
2. Click on the Add-ons button
3. On the menu at the left, click on Extensions.
4. Find the Roboform Password Manage Extension. Click on the Options button at the far right.
5. Under Options, check the checkbox for the item "Show Roboform Lower Toolbar"
That did it for me.

That's puzzling now! A message I received from RoboForm was:rotifer9 wrote:I had the same problem. Using Firefox 54...upgraded to Roboform 8.3 and Roboform toolbar disappeared. However I was able to get it back. Follow these steps

A: Per Mozilla, Firefox 57 will only support WebExtensions. Starting with version 8.3.7,
the RoboForm extension no longer includes a full static toolbar. This is a requirement of Mozilla.
So I presume you are referring to the mini-toolbar i.e. RF icon and not the full one we had before 8.3
EDIT:
Ah, I see what you mean. I'm even more confused now.
I've never used the RF toolbar just the right-click context menu so since the right-click menu has gone I now use the RF icon.
