Oracle Forms and Reports 11g and Firefox

Post by rmartes »

Is anyone using Firefox with Oracle Forms and Reports 11g? If so, what is your settings, version and Java version installed. Our users are having issues with Firefox when using Oracle Forms and Reports 11g. Any other additional information would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks

What version of FF are you running?
(Pretty sure you'll need to be on the FF 52 ESR line.)

What version of Java are you running?
(Some posts mention dropping back to v8 121.)

Fx 53.0 and later Releases only allows the Flash Player Plugin to run. Also in Fx 52.0 and earlier for the Java Plugin to run you need 32-bit Firefox as Win64 Firefox only allowed the 64-bit Flash Player and Silverlight Plugins to run.

Talking about java issues, HP Procurve switches need java to work. Cannot access the browser "GUI" page for our network switch. Had to use IE to get into it.
