I have a phpBB 3.2 forum that I administer. It seems to be working fine in every regard but one:
When I try to attach photos to my forum (and even to other forums) the upload doesn't always work in FF. I see the status bar indicating the progress of the upload but at the end I get a message saying the upload failed because the file was incompatible (or something similar. This is almost certain to happen if the file is larger than 800kb and esp. if it is coming from the cloud (Google Drive).
It does not happen in Chrome.
I have tried to attach a small 20 x 20 pxl gif to a Zenforo forum with the same results. Again this behaviour does not occur in Chrome.
Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Re: upload issues
I gotta ask... have you tried Firefox in safe-mode to see if it works?

Re: upload issues
My first guess would be an issue with "mime types"?
When it fails, anything related noted in Error Console?

Re: upload issues
That's for uploading videos...so far no problem with FF although I haven't ever had the need to load a video in Zenforo.JayhawksRock wrote:And are you following the Zenforo rules for uploading

And with regard to images...using the same techniques, Chrome uploads the 20 x 20 pixel gif into Zenforo just fine (along with other larger images). It's only FF that is having trouble.

So far I haven't noticed anything. But just to be clear where do you find it and wouldn't there be a log?therube wrote:My first guess would be an issue with "mime types"?
