Profile folder = 17,000 files, almost 400mb

What is the content of the storage folder?
How many files are in the default and permanent folder in the storage folder?

The storage folder is 84mb.

permanent is < 1mb, 10 files and 10 folders

temporary is 3.75mb, 22 files and 10 folders

Default is 80mb, 12,000 files in 600 subfolders. Weather.com has almost all of that 71mb, 11,714 files, 265 subfolders. Most of this is in weather.com/cache/morgue in the form of "Final" files.

I guess I check the weather frequently! So I will delete this weather.com folder periodically.

I thought I would post an update.

I took all the advice in this thread, and have gotten my profile folder down to 110mb and 800 files. More than half of the remaining files are in the minidumps folder, and 99% of them are from 2012-2014. I assume I can safely clear these out as well?

Just looked up "minidump," and it's old info about crashes. Just dumped my minidumps too.

FF is a complex program, with a gazillion files. We need a comprehensive FF junk cleaner equivalent to DiskCleanup for Windows. You select buttons for the junk you want cleaned and it does its thing all at once. No, I don't write code
