Latest Firefox not working well on ONE site - hls.js error

I bought a new [refurbished] PC - an upgrade. MUCH faster than my existing PC. Running both until I get everything transferred across. Both machines are Windows 7.

I downloaded the latest Firefox to my new machine. I'm still running Firefox 42 on my old one.

I am getting problems with one site on my new machine - but is working perfectly in Firefox 42 on my old one.

On my new PC, some of the streams work fine, some have occasional lag and spinning circle, but, some have a constant spinning circle and throw up the following error :

hls.js error : networkError fatal: true manifestLoadError

As already said, everything works fine in Firefox 42.

Old machine : Firefox 42, wi-fi, signal 3-4 bars.

New machine : Latest Firefox, tried both wired and wireless.

As said, some streams work ok, so it's not a flash problem. All other flash sites (eg, Youtube) work fine.

Any ideas what I can do to solve this?

Why would the text you quoted get my post locked?

As a heavy smoker, a PC generally only lasts me 4 years as the fans get clogged up. Therefore, I see little point in buying new and always go for second hand/refurbished.

BTW...the reason that my other accounts got locked is that I have also changed email over the years (mainly to dump Yahoo), so, on a different PC, with a different email, account recovery is near impossible. Much easier just to make a new one.

Also, I know the website in question is of a sensitive nature, for want of a better word, but, I came here with a genuine problem hoping for a solution or at least some suggestions as to what might be wrong.
