Returning Firefox to an earlier day's display

Post by hekdic »

My wife wanted to use my computer while I was gone flying for the weekend. She didn't realize that I had just put it to sleep because I had a couple websites that I still wanted to review and was afraid that I would forget them if I shut it down. She hit the start button, did what she needed and turned it off, losing those tabs. Is there a way to bring up past history to get back to Sept 1 ?

Should be able to click on History -> Show All History which goes back 7 days or so, provided you had Firefox set to remember History.

If you didn't have history enabled try and remember a few details from the sites you visited and then use google to search for those terms.

Mark, Thanks for your help.. If you're trying to get to several sites, it gets a little old having to start from the beginning each time, but it's far better than nothing.
