I'm currently using FF ESR 52.3.0. I got a message tonight on screen that there is a FF update for me, but I don't have the rights to install it (there was more to it than that, but that was essentially the message). First time I've seen this message. When I look at About Firefox, it does not say anything about an update being available.

Is there an update to my ESR version?

Note that current is 52.4.0 ESR released today.

Try to run the Firefox program once as Administrator (right-click: Run as Administrator).

Both Firefox 56.0 Release and 52.4.0esr were scheduled for released Sept 28 so it was not a surprise. https://wiki.mozilla.org/RapidRelease/Calendar

Just installed 52.4.0 ESR. Thanks for the checking for me about the new version.

What caused my concern was the message about not having the rights to install; I'd never seen that before although I usually use a non-administrative profile. I just went to the ESR downloads page, https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/o ... tions/all/, and downloaded from there using the non-administrative profile without issue. Maybe windows has changed or had a hiccup.
