- I can no longer scroll <iframe>s. All scrolling operations apply only to the main window including both the scroll button on the mouse and the scrollbars in the frame.
- Firebug 2.0.19 does not display the HTML. Sometimes the entire HTML subwindow is completely blank. Sometimes it shows the <html> tag with a + beside it, but clicking on the + does not expand. This makes it really difficult to debug the first problem.

Since I applied the most recent fixes to Firefox on Ubuntu 16.04 I have encountered a couple of issues:

Does the same thing occur if you launch the application in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode

If you have NoScript installed check Options/Embeddings - see if "Forbid Iframe" is checked.
