Quitting FF doesn't kill the background task

Post by Adolf Stalin »

Quitting FF in any way (including the "restart" option from the menu bar) leaves the process in the background. It has to be ended manually.
It happened with 55 and it still happens after updating to 56.

Have you tried starting Firefox in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
