Re: THAT STUPID ALGO FOR THE DROPDOWN LIST!! SOLUTION??
If you have a backup...
I'd be frustrated too if that happened to me.
You're on a very old FF.
Has it been a long while since you've opened FF?
(From what I hear FF likes to "start over" when it see's a stale Profile opening. And in that respect, you may have a back of old on your desktop?)

Fire 750, bring back 250.

Re: THAT ALGO FOR THE DROPDOWN LIST!! SOLUTION??
Is this about the location bar drop-down list that shows a list of recently visited websites?
That list shows items based upon 'frecency'.
If your history got cleared then the visit count and bonus points got reset and you would have to visit links often enough to make them reappear at the top of the list.

(edited to fix broken link)

(link fixed) places.frecency.(visit type)VisitBonus
(Only Mozilla.)
Heh, that's weird. And since you asked, The word "frecency" itself is a combination of the words "frequency" and "recency."frecency
(Only Mozilla.)
