Is there any solution in 2017 to move the find bar on top ?

I tried with css only witout success:
Code: Select all
.browserContainer > findbar {
  -moz-box-direction: reverse !important;
}

I then tried with userChrome.js, but did not find the code necessary for current Firefox releases.
http://userchromejs.mozdev.org/index.html

Any idea ?

Solution found after hours of investigation.

Add this to userChrome.css
Code: Select all
.browserContainer > findbar {
    -moz-box-ordinal-group: 0;
    position: fixed !important;
}

It's also possible to use Classic Theme Restorer for a while yet.
On /Toolbars/page 2/Findbar's position there are several options.

Extension should not be recommended for very simple requests, especially in this period of time.
I would even say: don't use extension when not needed.
