This is concerning this bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1409282
Both Firefox and Chrome complain about http://download.nullsoft.com/customize/ ... te_2_1.wal when protections are enabled but download.nullsoft.com has no issues on StopBadware and Google Safe Browsing. This is a Winamp Skin by the way. Virus scanners don't complain about the file itself after letting it download.
So, there must be some additional service causing this to flag.
What services are us to check for malicious sites/downloads?

Oh, & I wasn't seeing any issue on my end with the download, SeaMonkey & FF 56.
Fire 750, bring back 250.

Set browser.safebrowsing.malware.enabled to false in about:config.
When you download a file from anywhere it sends a unique ID to Google which can be used to track your browsing habits.
If malware is present on a site most reputable security software will block access. Here's an example taken from the Malwarebytes forum: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/1 ... ent-854912
