I recently began receiving a redirect notice when clicking on any link on the Google News site. The notice tells me that the previous page is sending me to the page I want to go to. I can then click a link in the notice that takes me to the intended page. This only happens with Firefox and not Chrome or Edge. Anybody know what might be happening with this?

I'm seeing mentions of an option in the accessibility settings for turning off redirect notices. Where are the accessibility settings in FF 56.0.1?

I tried modifying the settings on the about:config page but that didn't fix the problem with the redirect notices.

the redirect is present not shortly - you did not noticed it because something prevented the redirect for you, perhaps an extension which now fails.

there is nothing firefox can do for you, no setting. try this
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... -link-fix/

if that wont help, do a full adware scan
AdwCleaner AdwCleaner Download
Insert [Report] here, then [Cleanup]

The redirect notice still happens when starting FF in safe mode. There haven't been any recent changes in add-ons. I'll look at what you suggested.

I tried that before posting here and it should have fixed it but didn't.
