Login autofill

Hi,

I updated Firefox to 56 (64bit) a couple of days ago, but now when I go to login to any forums or sites it doesn't autofill the logins, I need to fill the username & password manually, my saved logins are still there under options>saved logins, is there a fix for this problem?

Hi mozz1 !

Would you make sure that you're not in permanent Private Browsing mode :

https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Private+Browsing

3-bar menu (or 'Tools') => Options => Privacy & Security => under 'History' => Firefox will : choose : 'Use custom settings for history'
Uncheck : 'Always use private browsing mode'

And in Options => Privacy & Security => under 'Forms & Passwords' :
make sure that 'Remember logins for sites' is checked.

Any difference ?

It wasn't any of those that was the problem, I just found out it was Classic Theme Restorer add-on, I disabled it & autofill logins are working again, looks like this add-on isn't fully compatible with FF 56, it's a shame, thanks for your reply.

However : have you scrolled down to what it now says under 'About this Add-on' - anthing helpful there ?

Nothing in CTR touches login forms.
Test a new browser profile. CTR is fully compatible to Fx 56.

Did you check signon prefs that deal with autofill on the about:config page?
