open all in tabs opening wrong way

When i use "open all in tabs" in my favorite folder suddenly they all open the wrong way, right to left. They used to open nicely left to right in order.
Im using firefox quantum. Any ideas guys?

Hi !

Would you try and see if toggling the value of this preference on the aboout:config page makes a difference :

browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent

Type in the address bar 'about:config' (without the quotation marks) and press Enter

Then type in the search bar 'browser.tabs.insert' (without the quotation marks)
and look for the preference I mentioned.

After you've changed the value, close and restart Firefox, in order for the change to take effect.

In Firefox (Release Channel) version 57.0, I just tried Right+Clicking on a Bookmarks folder, and it opened the tabs, and the order of the tabs matched my expectations: the tabs are arranged left to right, same order as the bookmarks in the folder from top to bottom (top bookmark is leftmost tab just opened; bottom bookmark in that folder is the rightmost tab opened).

Are you using any tab-related or UI-related extensions? Are you rearranging where UI elements go by some settings in a userChrome.css file that you had created or copied into the profile?

If not, as a test...

create a new Profile
(with FF closed)
copy places.sqlite over from old to new

start new
open your tabs

Are they in the correct order?


(Funny how the sidebar bookmarks flicker when you open them [at least on my end].)
