Video downloaders were nuked, need help

Post by teh roxxors »

I've used Ant Video Downloader and Flash Video Downloader for years.

Ant Video Downloader is undergoing redevelopment. As of today, you can install it, but have to reinstall the next time you launch the browser. Not interested.

The developers of Flash Video Downloader claim that the available version is compatible with 57, but its FVD Download Manager crashes and loses videos that finish downloading. Contacting them seems a waste of time.

I was about to download a popular "YouTube" video downloader, only to see the list of information it was going to collect and alter as part of the EULA. I shut that down straight away.

Can anyone recommend a video downloader that works today (not last week or some months in the future) and across a wide range of sites? And the one that requires payment for each download is not something I'm interested in.

Thank you.

Moving to Firefox Support...

See if any of these are suitable...

Win-10-H/64 bit/500G SSD/16 Gig Ram/450Watt PSU/350WattUPS/Firefox-115.0.2/T-bird-115.3.2./SnagIt-v10.0.1/MWP-7.12.125.

(Always choose the "Custom" Install.)
