Vsync in quantum. [Linux.]
I am wanting to switch to Firefox 57 but I am seeing still a reason to use Chrome. The vsync when watching in browser videos don't seem to vsync reliably in Firefox, if it's happening at all. Any way around this?

Video driver issue?
Hardware Acceleration issue? (Disable in FF & test.)

That didn't make a difference. The workaround I found was to set layers.acceleration.force-enabled to true.
