FF57 - prevent fading of URL and Tab text

Post by Ed1 »

Is there a way to prevent the fading of the right side of the text displayed as a URL address in the Address Bar?

I am familiar with changing the about:config setting to disable the URL bar formatting. I have already toggled to False: browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled. That keeps all URL bar text in a normal font, rather than just the main domain name being normal and the left and right portion of the web address being a finer font. But, it does not prevent the right side of the address from gradually fading out as it approaches the right side of the URL bar.

And, same question about preventing the fading on the right side (only) of the title of a Tab?

Hi,
I believe that it's a new "feature" that "they" decided to add. :)

Not sure if it can be rectified though.
Maybe some nice coder can assist?

You've done what I did with the pref > browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled
& that's it AFAICS.
