Cannot Change Color of Followed Links

Post by skeezix »

Inside of FF 52.0.2 I changed the color of a followed link from the magenta to a bright orange. Then I quit FF and restarted it, but the color change did not take affect. Why not? (Private browsing is disabled.)

Did you notice the dropdown list that tells Firefox WHEN your color selections take effect? You have to select "always" there to see your chosen colors instead of those
of the website you're visiting.

What I meant was "Inside of FF 57.0.2..." and not "Inside of FF 52...."

@Kreemoweet -

While writing a very detailed description of what I did, it wasn't until the very last part that I noticed the "Always" choice in "Overwrite the colors..." in the Colors DB. So I selected "Always" and now I can actually see what I've clicked on and what I haven't.

Thank you very much for your help. Over the years my eyes are having a harder and harder time distinguishing between the maroon and the navy blue colors for links, and I really appreciate your help!!!!!

Thanks again!

If you want to override link colors without affecting background colors:
