Bookmarks: Possible to "Sort By Name" automatically?

Post by FrankSMS »

Is it possible to set "Sort By Name" by default? All the time I come to folders that are unsorted. You'd think you could just go to the top folder and "Sort By Name" and everything under that would be sorted alphabetically, like how we sort most everything in life. This doesn't seem to work in Firefox. Its how most everything on your computer is organized so why not bookmarks? I have to go folder by folder and right click each then click Sort By Name. Imagine if you have a thousand folders.....what fun. And when I add another bookmark I have to do it again because it will go at the bottom of the folder instead of being sorted alphabetically. I looked in about:config under bookmarks but didn't see anything related to sorting. Maybe somewhere else its hiding?
