I've moved from ESR to the latest Firefox and am very pleased - all is to my liking but I am stumped on one little thing .... when I click on a saved bookmark whether from Other Bookmarks or from a file I've made within Bookmarks it opens in a new tab next to the page I was on.
I have explored and in Options/General/Tabs the "Open new windows in a new tab instead" is unticked. I tried ticking it then restarting and then unticking it and restarting again but no change.
Is there a way please to get the old behaviour back where a newly clicked on saved bookmark replaces the page I am on rather than opening a tab next to it?

What do you have set for the preference browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInTabs ??
If TRUE, bookmarks open in a new tab. Default is FALSE.
