I can't find the tool for importing bookmarks in the upgraded version of FF. The instructions I find on Google is based on the old version.
From the library -> bookmark -> bookmark tool -> I get Remove/View/Hide bookmark options, but no importing tool.
Is import function moved to some other place or am I missing something?

Try menu path Bookmarks->Show all bookmarks->Import and Backup->....

It is not well placed at all, it is at Library -> bookmarks -> at the end Show all bookmarks will bring the tool
short cut is ctrl+shift+B

Apparently you are not displaying the menu bar. If you were it would be the path I posted above.
