Firefox 57 Multi-row Bookmark Toolbar on MAC anyone?

Post by ankitanks »

Firefox 57.0.4 macOS Sierra

Has anyone worked out code to get Multi-row Bookmark Toolbar on Mac? I have tried numerous codes to edit userChrome.css but none of them seem to work on Mac. I am hoping someone here will guide me.

I am missing old Firefox. Thank you everyone.

I believe most userChrome.css changes work regardless of operating system. Does any change in userChrome.css do anything at all for you?

Possible errors:
go to about:profiles, open the folder from there so you know you are working in your real profile.
Create or use a subfolder in the profile called Chrome.
Use a file called - case sensitive - userChrome.css . Make sure it is not userChrome.css.txt or anything like that.
The very first line of the file must be
@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gateke ... s.only.xul");

Then insert the code you have found. Ideally, use a programmer's text editor that colors the code so you can see that comments and braces that are opened are closed properly.
Then restart the browser for changes to take effect.

Yes I removed everything all together and started again. It worked like a charm. Thank you.
