Re: Is it safe to upgrade to 58 yet?
I use Stylus https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... src=search as a replacement for Stylish. I found replacements for pretty much everything I used and userChrome.css modifications to make it look like it did. For me, perfectly safe to upgrade. Everyone has to make their own choice. There is no correct answer.

If I may ask, instead of remaining on Fx56, why not use Fx ESR which includes all the security updates made between Fx56 and current Fx60 plus at least for another couple of months it preserves full compatibility with your old extensions, plus it's Mozilla unlike Waterfox and other variants?

I would also make regular Profile backups, if not password file backups.
