Downloader addons fail

Downloader addons fail
I have been using one or another downloader from Firefox addons for years. I can no longer find one which works. The one I've been using, "YouTube Video and Audio Downloader", gives me error messages for most videos, "signature cannot be verified". Others i try give blank downloads. Is there a good Firefox addon downloader that works?

I went to get sample error videos, but the errors are gone and the downloader works now. Sorry to have bothered you. But do you know a good alternative to "YouTube Video and Audio Downloader", in case this happens again? Most downloaders I've used had short lifespans.
