Recently I've started whitelisting cookies in Firefox; Unchecking the 'accept cookies from websites' option, and instead only listing cookies from sites I trust as exceptions.
I've run into some problems on some whitelisted sites, however. Facebook, for example, doesn't seem to let me upload images unless I explicitly enable all cookies from all websites. I've tried checking to see what cookies the action of uploading an image leaves behind, but there doesn't seem to be anything that isn't already covered by my facebook.com exception.
Um, help?

bandcamp.com does something similar; it won't allow me to run the music player unless cookies are enabled for all websites globally.

Not that I'll be able to help you ... especially if you are on the latest version of Firefox... I use the ESR version... but I see in your post that you didn't include the version of Firefox that you use... that would help in getting responses.

You might want to review this extension. See if it will work for you. I use a diff. one (like it) in my ESR Firefox.
