Post the site or place the site URL in the W3C Validator
Use the verbose but don't group the warnings.
There's also a function to correct any html errors.

Re: Upgraded to https forum icons not working
I suspect the icons are still being loaded using HTTP; although, if you've correctly redirected everything in the .htaccess over to HTTPS, shouldn't matter. I just converted a SMF forum over to HTTPS and there were a number of things I had to change to get it all working correctly. Link to forum would help.. unless it has nefarious content or something.

Do you mean this page?
In the top right hand column, there's a link named "View your posts."
That will take you right to the thread or simply Bookmark it.

Re: Upgraded to https forum icons not working
Thanks I got a bit confused between what I think is the official Firefox help desk which I'd used occasionally in the past, and this forum which I never knew existed before and so now definitely bookmarked as I've used Firefox for years !

Re: Upgraded to https forum icons not working
I went to the site using HTTPS and I see the house looking icons on the left just fine. Looks like the house image is coming from https://www.sparklit.com/secure/image/e ... /house.gif

Re: Upgraded to https forum icons not working
You mention the shield and indeed Tracking Protection is blocking the house image as you can see in the Web Console.
i"m curious though why Tracking Protection isn't blocking this image when I use a HTTP link.
Web Console with HTTPS:
The resource at “https://www.sparklit.com/secure/image/e ... /house.gif” was blocked because tracking protection is enabled.
The resource at “https://www.sparklit.com/secure/image/e ... /heart.gif” was blocked because tracking protection is enabled.
The resource at “https://api.viglink.com/api/vglnk.js” was blocked because tracking protection is enabled.
Web Console with HTTP:
Password fields present on an insecure (http://) page. This is a security risk that allows user login credentials to be stolen.
poldark.activeboard.com
The resource at “http://cdn.viglink.com/api/vglnk.js” was blocked because tracking protection is enabled.

Re: Upgraded to https forum icons not working
Just to note, Private Browsing also affects things, because Private Browsing also, by default, sets Tracking Protection, so the house.gif "icons" break in Private Browsing.
