Hi
How is this possible ? New installation, new profile, no addon.
Tab's URL is http://dgw.no-remote.com/
And it is comes back at each reboot ...
Could you explain to me where this function is ?

I've never seen that in any installation of Firefox. From where did you download the installer?
And I strongly suggest you scan your system for malware.
Install and run these programs, consecutively, not simultaneously.

If these don't find it or can't clear it, post in one of these forums for specialized malware removal help:

In that case I suggest that you uninstall it and download and install a copy of the latest version from the official Mozilla site -- http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all
If you wanted the ESR version, you can get it here -- https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/o ... tions/all/

How are you starting Firefox as perhaps this is on the end of the command in launcher shortcut.Jeromexx wrote:It is on Linux Mint,, installation by the system.

Yes, it is interesting because I have the two versions in parallel : 52.6 esr customized and called firefox-esr and 58.0.2 from Ubuntu stores installed with default parameters except the launcher which I tried to customize by adding a " (...) no-remote (...) in the aim to it to launch automatically with the Quantum Profile, but it did not work ... but I never added this sequence : "dgw" and so this strange tab was launching websites at the beginning as a proposal of free i-phone you see ?James wrote:How are you starting Firefox as perhaps this is on the end of the command in launcher shortcut.Jeromexx wrote:It is on Linux Mint,, installation by the system.

So since this problem appeared, I re-installed Firefox 58 by the system (Re-install function is implemented) so I beleived that the shortcut had been changed because it was not in the fast launch zone but was in the start menu, then with usage it placed itself in the fast lauch zone.
