Session Manager question
I am thinking about trying session manager with FF 58. I was wondering if there is a way for the browser to open on the far left tab instead of the far right tab?

Re: Session Manager question
Are you referring to some extension? If so, which one?

Re: Session Manager question
How about a link to the specific extension you're talking about.

Re: Session Manager question
That extension is not compatible with Firefox Quantum (FF 57+).

This one is though...

Saves your sessions which are available upon a restart of Firefox.
Bit weird?

Re: Session Manager question
Thx.. is there a way that this extension will open the tabs, when opened, will open them to the furthest to the left instead of the furthest to the right? If not, is there an extension that will do this?LIMPET235 wrote:This one is though...

Re: Session Manager question
You're welcome.
This extension will just save your sessions.
It does not have any options/features to choose on which side to open tabs.
A rather intense search of the Addons site did not find anything related to opening tabs on the left of the current one.
They all want to open tabs on the right or close tabs to the right &/or left or "other stuff."

Maybe someone will know of an extension or by code.
Perhaps if you searched the Addons site for "open tabs right to left?"

I think this add-on will do what you want:

Re: Session Manager question
All of the session management extensions are under active development. At least one of them is on Github where it's fairly easy to post a feature suggestion:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addo ... n-manager/ => https://github.com/sienori/Tab-Session-Manager/issues
