I have installed Facebook Container and the installed Firefox Multi-Account Containers.

In the Firefox Multi-Account Containers I had created a new container for accessing my Instagram account. It was working fine. But at some point I noticed that my Instagram link opening in Facebook Container. This happens even when I enter the URL http://www.instagram.com in the container I have created for it. It immediately switches to the Facebook container.

I closed all the Instagram tabs and tried again, but the same happens. Can someone help me avoid this? Is there a way to clear a containers history? (wondering probably that will help?)

Could be due to Facebook owning Instagram and identified as such in the container.

@Grumpus That was not the case initially. This started happening later at some point.

I removed the 'Facebook Container' and then added again. This solved the problem for me!

So certainly there is some issue with 'Facebook Container' add-on (or 'Firefox Multi-Account Containers' add-on).
