Thanks Robert, but I am afraid that that made no sense at all in that I am none the wiser.
Could you give more detailed instructions please>

Re: Cannot Connect To Outlook In Firefox
What is the exact URL that you are trying to connect to when you get that error message? It should start with https:// but what comes after that?

Same.
Your connection is not secure.
Only happens in Firefox.

Re: Cannot Connect To Outlook In Firefox
I tried that using FF59.0.2 and had no problem with a non-secure message. I of course could not log in since I don't have an Outlook account.DanRaisch wrote:See what happens if you try http://login.live.com/login.srf
EDIT: I tried to log in. It didn't say anything about non-secure; it only said I used the wrong PW.

Re: Cannot Connect To Outlook In Firefox
I've come across this one before. Run this - https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/ as I suspect a SSL change has been made on your PC by malware.
The scan only takes 5 minutes.

Re: Cannot Connect To Outlook In Firefox
Thank you.
Unfortunately, clicking on the link produced the same error message.
I ran a scan from my desktop Malwarebytes and it came up clean -as usual.
It does appear to be a Firefox thing, although some suggest that it might be related to the antivirus prog.
I am going to uninstall my 360 antivirus next and try Avast free, which includes Network checking.

Re: Cannot Connect To Outlook In Firefox
try this (in firefox window) Ctrl H , search (search history) for the trouble site, right click and chose "Forget about this site" This will reset the site , removing login, password, cookies etc... (you will have to re-enter the password.

Thank you.
Afraid that that didn't work.
The site seems to open alright but shows a message saying that it uses cookies.
That screen remains unless Learn More is clicked.
It is then that the Insecure Connection message shows.

try a clean profile
create a new profile

or
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager
if that wont help uninstall your antivirus (if not Windows defender)

Hi OTF,
I take it that you're running Norton 360.

Plus,
if you cannot get to this site to D/L the AdwCleaner, > https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/
then something is definitely "fishy" in/on your computer.

If you're going to un-install it, you will need to use their "un-Install tool."I am going to uninstall my 360 antivirus...

Re: Cannot Connect To Outlook In Firefox
I run 360 Total Security Antivirus.
Clicking on the link to Malwarebytes ADW Cleaner - above - produced the same Insecure message.
I am able to run Malwarebytes from desktop and it shows, like all the other checks, that everything is fine.
