Settings for Navigation tool bar to avoid side bar

Post by firefox_fan2008 »

Hello everyone,

For the last few days I am getting a sidebar which contains the home button, print, search, etc. meant to show on the navigation tool bar.
This is extremely irritating to me as it affects my productivity. How do I ensure that nothing is hidden on the actual Navigation tool bar?

I am using the Firefox 56 version.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried Firefox' Safe Mode yet?

Might be down to a "mis-guided" extension.

Hmmm interesting. You may be up to something here. I need to check into this further. I haven't added any new extensions recently but then again they have the tendency to update themselves regularly. As I am writing this response all is back to normal by itself but it is quite possible that next time I reopen Firefox I may have the same problem again. It's been intermittent. I'll look into the safe mode as you suggested. Thanks for your feedback.
