Rebranding Firefox Quantum (ver 60.0.2)

Post by mikewthr »

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the text in the title bar?

You can edit the title of your post by viewing your post and click on the edit button in the upper right.
If you want it to disappear right click on the tool bar and hit customize.
In the lower left of the customize panel is a check block for turning the title bar on or off.

(He's speaking of the browser itself, not the forum.)

Pretty sure there used to be extensions to do that in older FF.
These days...

I would suspect on the release version, no.
On a #dev version, or do they still have those "unbranded" versions, might be able do something there.
Or you could build your own, in which case you'd have the ability to not enforce all the restrictions normally present.

CCK2 Wizard is still being supported, but I don't know if you can still change the text in the titlebar.

@therube - I thought this - If you want it to disappear right click on the tool bar and hit customize.
In the lower left of the customize panel is a check block for turning the title bar on or off.

. . . covered the browser, though it was more than a simple edit.
