Looks like malware or something. I get this every time I start FF.

Re: What is flare.newflashvoter.review/
If it's not a feature of your home page, and not a restored tab, perhaps it's from an extension. You can view, disable, and often remove unwanted or unknown extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
* type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return
In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions.
Then cast a critical eye over the list on the right side. Any extensions Firefox installs for built-in features are hidden from this page, so everything listed here is your choice (and your responsibility) to manage. Anything suspicious or that you just do not remember installing or why? If in doubt, disable (or remove).
Any improvement?

That's the thing, I am very careful about what I add, and haven't changed ANYthing on FF in ages. Home page is Google.com. So I just deleted all extensions and reinstalled.

Install and run these programs, consecutively, not simultaneously.

It's malware. I don't even use flash and I get that sometimes. Just ignore it.
If you have any worries about your current version of Flash, just hit up Adobe.

Due to malvertising Ads in which the fake download page is trying to trick people into installing what is actually something that will infect their Windows in some way.

I should have said: potential malware. It's more like click-bait. Just ignore it and you'll be fine.brinke wrote:yeah my PC is clean top to bottom. why does that show up?
Another one that pops up every now and then is one that urges you to update Firefox. Also click bait.
Afaik, Firefox will either update silently or (if set to Never Update) won't prompt you at all. I've never known Firefox to open a webpage telling you that you need to update.
You did the right thing, you ignored the fake Flash prompt and did the research.

Any decent blocker should have fixed it.
