"HDCP" error message

Post by metta2u »

Can't watch "HBO GO", always get this message: "An HDCP issue was detected with your setup."

All other channels with my package are easily accessible and viewable via FF; i.e. Starz, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, NBC, etc. I use a MacBook Air and can access HBO Go via Safari. I've emptied cookies, cleared the cache & history as well as uninstalling and re-installing FF.

Does anyone have info/solutions to this?

Gratefully,
susan

Nope, those are not the answers - I’ve seen both those articles in my own search. I imagine an answer is available, but from someone who has also had the same problem and/or fixed it.

If anyone has a fix for the HDCP issue with HBO GO please let me know? No links, please, to useless articles unless there are steps to a fix.

Thanks.
