Tabs on bottom

I am using ver 52.3.0 ESR and win 10

I have had my tabs bar always below the bookmarks bar and the adress bar, but today, when ever I restart FF, the tabs are at the top just below the menu bar.

I restored a profile from a few days ago, and it was back to how I like it, but again, shortly afterwards, the tab bar has moved to the top

ps.. i prefer not to have to use the chrome css thingy which as an illiterate computer bloke, seems very hard to do

Tabs on bottom was a pref in the Classic Theme Restorer extension.

Are you using that?

I installed it but I cant find in the options where the choice is that tabs be at the bottom

I think it was with the toolbar settings, but CTR had so many options...

success at last.

Once I found the icon for the CTR, and could click on that, I found the option for position of tabs.
It's called <smiles> Tabs NOT on top
