Stopping updates [RESOLVED]

If you (from here http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... &t=3040399 ) do this it will for sure not offer any updates. If you want to update later you will have to undo it, or use a full installer of the version you want to install.
Use Notepad to open
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\pref\channel-prefs.js
then simply change
pref("app.update.channel", "esr");
to
pref("app.update.channel", "esrDISABLED");

Thanks. I write all my changes in a little notebook, so undoing is easy. Remember pen and paper?
